About Nick
After earning a B.S. in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of Minnesota, I spent a few years working as a graphic designer in the Twin Cities before deciding to switch gears and pursue another passion of mine --- teaching. I earned my Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education from Liberty University in May of 2013. Since then, I have had the honor and privilege of spending some years teaching graphic design and art, and some years teaching special education — it’s truly been wherever the Lord has called me at the time!
While I love teaching, I don't think I'll ever be able to give up painting and designing. My wife would tell you I always have a number of projects going. We moved to Chattanooga, Tennessee in June 2024 and I’m thrilled to be teaching graphic arts at Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts.
Our Mission
After having the honor of serving the Lord overseas for two years, my wife and I now have two huge goals:
1.) To team with missionary families and intentionally love and support them, here and abroad.
2.) Our son Rowan is on the autism spectrum, and we have a deep desire to educate those in third world countries about autism and how all children with disabilities are a gift from the Lord!
20% of everything I earn from painting goes directly toward loving and supporting our missionary friends and families who are serving Jesus through global missions!
